How many pairs of shoes do you guys plan on going through on this adventure? I realy liked the blister pics! Denny the Clark house has beem quite since you left. There have been no late night party's keeping Diane and my self up. lol As far as the marriage thing goes you promised you were going to marry Breanne many years ago when you were just alittle tyke and yes we do have that on tape! Stay safe and remember what your mothers always told you "don't talk to strangers". Sorry I thought that was funny. : )
I gather that this trip is to promote the good that is in this world and try to spread it as well. So you rough it some nights, you are hosted on other nights. You aren't the only ones "paying it forward" as you are also being shown that other citizens of this country have hearts like yours.
What's more is that you're publicizing the altruistic nature of yourselves and those you meet. The world needs more of this.
Where can I possibly start with you two? I'm completely in love with both of you. I am really excited about your journey and the summer you're going to have. You're lucky that I have too many responsibilities and I had to rush back to work, because after 2 hours of sleep and too much port wine, leaving the car in Salisbury was really tempting...
Brian, I read something that your father wrote on a link to an Iowan newspaper article. It kind of surprised me, because it seems like the two of you have more in common than you realize...
It's already 9:25pm, so I hope you're in Somerville. I have reluctantly passed the No Stranger Land torch to the next recipient and your goodness is marching on. But the great thing about this flame is that I can pass the fire on to the next relay without giving any of mine away. So the two of you have moved on and you're staying with me at the same time.
I'm too tired to write anything that sounds intelligent, so I'm going to attach some pictures and maybe I'll write later on my interpretations of how I found two little Iowa pebbles on my beach and how they turned out to be precious gems that I somehow needed just at that moment and will always treasure.
Keep writing; you're both really good at it and the blog is fabulous (although somehow I'm thinking that I may not like it quite as well when you're not talking about me. ;-)
I will read it every day; I know that you'll reach the Pacific this summer; but from a very tired girl, let me put it simply. If your goal was to make a huge positive impact on a complete stranger not by what you did but solely because of who you are, mission accomplished -- you can go home now.
Denny, do you have a pillow tonight? You know, I'm thinking that if you had told me the first (or second) night how much you missed a pillow, I would have given you one to use just while you were here so you wouldn't have to carry it. So maybe you can mention it to people a little earlier in the relationship...
I'm attaching some photos, I'll send more later. I'll check your blog every day, even if you only write every other day, and I'll think about you all the time. ... cherish your freedom ...
Thank you for falling into my life somehow. Call me if you need me. See you in California or on the Fourth of July.
XOXOXOXOXOXOX

P.S. All the cheap girls were out as soon as I went back through Hampton...you missed it.
That is so cool! I just spent the last 20 minutes (not watching The Batchelorette that I’ve been waiting for) BUT their story and how you guys met. Keep them!! We can all adopt them – but I know they have a mission to accomplish!!! Would love to continue to read about their journey.
Damn. I just spent the last hour catching up. I am supposed to be working! I have things to do guys! Living vicariously is an understatement, I am hitchhiking from Reno to join up! I had to make a donation as well....it should be enough for the present you buy me. Just kidding, spend it on beverages. Cheers!!
Hey guys I love keeping up with the trip through the blog. I check it everyday after work! What you're doing is amazing and I know you'll make it to the Pacific by the end of the summer and will have touched numerous lives along the way. Sounds like you've already met some awesome people this first week! Goodluck with this next week of the trip and I look forward to seeing how it goes =)
I've always wanted to journey cross country myself but never got around to it. It's so awesome that you two are taking the time to do this, you will have tons of memories to last a lifetime and some great stories to tell as well :)
You couldn't have picked a better time to do this, a time when we all need to be reminded that despite all the hard times, there are still good people out there. Thank you.
I just found your blog through a writer's post at verla kay's website. Good luck on your trip! It sounds like a grand adventure. You just passed by my neck of the woods, Exeter NH.
brian, in case you forgot, you are already married. quintons remember? but in case you are going to leave me... we will always have memories of denny and his straw microphone. good luck boys. keep the updates comin'.
We are traveling coast-to-coast across the United States, reaching out to the people we encounter along the way and observing how people react and reach out to us. Our adventure began on the Atlantic coast in Maine on May 20, and we hope to reach the Pacific coast by summer's end.
We will live minimally, hiking with our belongings on our backs. We are giving ourselves a $10-per-day spending limit for food. We will not seek out luxuries, trying our best not to pay or ask for accomodations or transportation. That said, we're open to any good fortune that may come our way.
In an adventurous, extreme approach, this is a study of how Americans interact with one another in today's society. We will document the trip through our blog - www.nostrangerland.blogspot.com - with writings, photos, and videos, allowing people to interact and follow along with us on our journey.
WHY WE ARE DOING IT
We want to get to know our country, its people, and ourselves with the hope of inspiring others with our stories. We are tired of the negative news in our world and want to do something uniquely positive to counter it. We hope to create a movement of peace and make America a bit better of a place. We believe kindness is contagious and don't want to live in a society in which people are skeptical of strangers. We want to live in No Stranger Land.
Any way you can! Helping spread the word about our project would be greatly appreciated.
Feel free to contact us any time with specific questions or thoughts at: nostrangerland@gmail.com
Some kind followers have inquired as to how they can donate to the project to ensure we are able to stay afloat and see the journey all the way through. If you are interested in helping out in this way, please click here:
Most importantly, we hope you support us by following our adventure.
Thank you very much for your encouragement!

Nice little segment here and I think when people see you're answering questions directly on the blog, they'll be more apt to ask them :)
The video's background looks very colonial, so enjoy your time there, keep doing good things, and I'll look forward to seeing where you land next!
